One thing that hasn’t changed in Lockdown 3.0, is that OOH continues to deliver broadcast reach of +90% (source : Journeys), as people are still leaving their homes regularly for a variety of reasons.
Some of the behaviours that are different in Lockdown 3.0 include :
- The growth of click and collect – with 80% of retailers now offering a click and collect service which wasn’t present in Lockdown 1.0.
- Grocery shopping and exercise are the main reasons people are leaving their home in Lockdown 3.0.
- The high street is more vibrant compared to the first lockdown
- And with the roll-out of the vaccine, there is more positivity with 67% of us feeling positive.
