The latest Kinetic Viewpoint report shows that so far our behaviour in Lockdown 3.0, is showing many similiarities to previous lockdown periods, however there are some key differences that are interesting for brands using OOH.

One thing that hasn’t changed in Lockdown 3.0, is that OOH continues to deliver broadcast reach of +90% (source : Journeys), as people are still leaving their homes regularly for a variety of reasons.

Some of the behaviours that are different in Lockdown 3.0 include :

  • The growth of click and collect – with 80% of retailers now offering a click and collect service which wasn’t present in Lockdown 1.0.
  • Grocery shopping and exercise are the main reasons people are leaving their home in Lockdown 3.0.
  • The high street is more vibrant compared to the first lockdown
  • And with the roll-out of the vaccine, there is more positivity with 67% of us feeling positive.
